Plymouth cloned bank card case sent to Crown Court

A MAN accused of using a cloned bank card has had his case sent to Crown Court.

Mamadou Doumbia, aged 24, faced Plymouth magistrates to answer 11 counts for allegedly committed in the city.

He has denied two counts of aiding or abetting fraud, where he allegedly helped someone commit the offence by buying a gift certificate using a cloned bank card on July 5.

Doumbia has also pleaded not guilty to eight offences of possessing or controlling articles for use in fraud – including bank cards and gift cards on July 5 and July 6.

He has also denied a final count of handling a stolen pair of Ralph Lauren sunglasses.

Doumbia, of Linden Road, Bristol, was released on bail to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on February 18.
