TALENTED musicians at Ivybridge Community College are to let their hair down and get into a party mood.

On Tuesday, June 26, the Big Band, Jazz Band and Soul and Funk Band of Ivybridge Community College, will bring music to the lovely setting of Lukesland Gardens at Harford, near Ivybridge.

The evening of smooth jazz rhythms will be in aid of Food for Thought, a Devon-based charity which supports projects in Uganda.

The concert will mark the fifth time music has been used to boost charitable coffers at the venue and over the years an astonishing £10,000 has been raised for good causes.
