Cornish residents urged to register for garden waste collection scheme
PEOPLE in Cornwall are being reminded to renew their subscription or register for the county's garden waste collection scheme.
The fortnightly kerbside service sees garden waste placed in the brown wheelie bin or sack, with the permit attached, taken away and composted.
Residents who purchased a bin or sack last year will only need to renew the permit. New subscribers will need to purchase both container and permit. The new subscription year starts from April 1. Residents must contact Cornwall Council by February 28.
