Crack cocaine seized in Plymouth as six arrested in raid
SIX men have been bailed by police after a drugs raid which netted a quantity of suspected crack cocaine.
Officers from Plymouth police's Core Tasking Unit (CTU) carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Albert Road, Devonport at around 3pm on Thursday.
Wearing protective clothing, the officers forced entry through the front door with a battering ram before a search of a flat uncovered a number of "rocks" of what police suspect is crack cocaine as well as a quantity of herbal cannabis.
Six men – four locals and two from Liverpool – were arrested on suspicion of being in possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs and taken to Charles Cross police station for questioning.
