D-day for Albion as they attempt to secure last play-off spot
PLYMOUTH Albion's play-off destiny will be decided tomorrow when they travel to Doncaster in the final regular Championship game of the season (3pm).
Victory at Castle Park will guarantee Albion a place in the promotion play-offs, with the possibility of finishing as high as seventh.

Defeat, however, would leave them nervously waiting on results of the games involving Moseley and Rotherham.
Both those teams can overtake eighth-placed Albion if they fail to win and that would leave Plymouth facing up to four-way relegation play-off.
Moseley, who are two points behind Albion, are at home to table-toppers Bristol, while Rotherham, who sit three points behind, visit Bedford.
But Albion's chairman of rugby Graham Dawe knows his team cannot afford to worry about results elsewhere.
"We can't influence other results," said Dawe.
"We are going into the final game in the top eight and we have to try and remain there.
"And the only we can guarantee that is by getting a win.
"The ultimate prize is to be in that top eight come 4.45pm tomorrow.
"It is not often a league game is vitally important in the middle of March. That is normally reserved for April or the beginning of May, but this is the way the format has panned out this year.
"The Championship has been an exciting campaign and it is going to be right down to the last game."
If Albion are going to secure their own destiny, then they are going to have to claim their first ever win on Doncaster soil.
Dawe's side have narrowly failed on four previous league attempts to claim victory at Castle Park, while they also lost there last year in the cup.
"We would clearly like to try and change the course of recent history at Doncaster," said Dawe. "And there would be no better weekend to do that.
"In previous years games have gone with home advantage between Doncaster and us, apart from this season when they beat us at Brickfields early in the year.
"We have had similar strength teams over the years and games have normally been close."
There is little to choose between the sides this term as well, with Doncaster just three points above Albion. It means Dawe's side could still finish above the Knights in the table if they win tomorrow.
But to do that Albion will have to break down the second meanest defence in the league after Bristol.
"They do play a particular defence that a lot of teams find hard to break down," said Dawe.
"We have been working how to try and do that for the last three weeks."
Dawe also knows his team need to stop Doncaster scoring points. The Knights still need one point to be mathematically certain of a top eight place.
"They have got a lot of power in their team with players like Bevon Armistage, Hudson Tonga'uiha, Andy Boyde, Bryn Griffiths, Glen Kenworthy, Dougie Flockhart and Andy Wright," said the Albion boss.
"They are all powerful guys with the ball in hand, who will challenge our defence, so we have to make sure we make our tackle and complete them."
Despite the importance of the match, Dawe insists his team must avoid allowing their nerves to get the better of them.
"It is no good being nervous," said the experienced former England hooker. "You want to face up to the world and take it on.
"You just have to have confidence in your ability."
