THE Herald has teamed up with Age UK Plymouth to encourage better-off pensioners to donate their Winter Fuel Payments to the less fortunate this year.

The automatic Government entitlement of up to £300 can be used by the charity to help some of the city's poorest elderly residents keep warm this winter.

Winter Fuel Payment donations can be made at www.ageukplymouth. org.uk or by calling 01752 253980 and using a credit or debit card. Giving can also be done by post to: Age UK Plymouth, William and Patricia Venton Centre, Astor Drive, Mount Gould PL4 9RD. They can also be made in person at any of Age UK Plymouth's centres.
