Delays after car crashes into telegraph pole
PART of a road in Saltash has been blocked after a car crashed into a telegraph pole.
Emergency services are recovering the vehicle and clearing debris from the road after the crash in Callington Road, near the junction with St Stephen's Road.

The accident, which is causing delays, happened at around 7.30am.
Two fire appliances from Saltash Community Fire Station were quickly in attendance.

Firefighters assisted ambulance personnel with a casualty and then made the scene safe.

“As, according to the comments on this site, car drivers can do no wrong, I suspect the telegraph pole was at fault for being there. Perhaps more adequate signage that telegraph poles can found next to roads would prevent this from happening in the future.”
