Delays for drivers as fallen tree and three-vehicle crash cause tailbacks in Plymouth
MOTORISTS using roads in and around Plymouth have been facing delays this morning.
A fallen tree, a three-vehicle crash and surface water on the busy A38 have been to blame for rush-hour hold-ups.
One lane of the Exeter-bound Parkway has been blocked because of a smash involving three vehicles.
The incident happened at around 9.06am on the A38 near the Manadon Roundabout.

An ambulance was called after one person was reported to be "walking wounded.
However, early reports by police indicate there are no serious injuries.
Traffic has been building up to New Park Road and Plymouth Road as a result of the incident.
Meanwhile, there have been warnings about hazardous driving conditions further up the A38.
Rain and surface water were reported in the Plympton area, on a stretch between Marsh Mills and Smithaleigh.
A separate morning collision has also closed one lane of the A386, Tavistock Road, near the busy Manadon Roundabout.
A silver Vauxhall Zafira and a Nissan Micra collided on Kinsale Road at 9:20am.
A child was in one of the vehicles was checked over and found to have suffered no injuries.
Police say the drivers exchanged details and a recovery vehicle has been called.
Some vehicles have also had trouble passing a tree which has reportedly fallen in Oregon Way, Efford, this morning.
