"Wow. Who says nothing exciting ever happens on a Sunday? I think they were going a bit over the top to tape off the whole area, but then what do I know?"
That was for health & safety reasons. It was obviously unsafe for the fireman to go beyond the tape!”

“A car and dog from Plymouth were mobilised around 9.am on Saturday morning, when I received a call about a snowfall on Kit Hill.
When we arrived, my friend confirmed that there had been a small snowfall on the hill involving a cloud.
The snow had stopped falling when we arrived.”

“Published by The Herald as not much else was happening? They should have been out at Burrator yesterday. Lots of young parents in their twenty somethings trying to show scant snow to toddlers in their early somethings. Clogging up the roads, pubs and cafes with vacant expressions and peering at a thin coating of snow which was neither here nor there. Obviously the dishwasher fire pipped this to the post for exciting events over the past 24/7.”
