Diver found safe after operation in Plymouth Sound
A DIVER who was reported overdue from his boat has been found uninjured in Plymouth Sound.
Brixham Coastguard said the Plymouth RNLI Lifeboat and ILB Coastguard Helicopter, Police RIBs, MoD and numerous diveboats started searching for the missing diver at 11.30am on Saturday after he was reported overdue to surface.
The man in his thirties was located near the Mewstone.
A spokesman for Brixham Coastguard said: "The man had come away from his dive vessel, which had one other person onboard.
