Divers rescued after failing to return to boat off Plymouth coast
TWO divers were found safe after going missing off the coast of Plymouth late yesterday.
The alarm was raised at about 5pm after the divers – a man and a woman – failed to return to their dive boat half an hour after they were due.

They were eventually located by the rescue helicopter and recovered by the Ministry of Defence and the Plymouth Lifeboat, Brixham Coastguard said.
They were taken to the Mountbatten Centre and did not need medical attention.

“Very lucky to have been found and rescued.
Let's hope they repay their gratitude with a large donation to the RNLI.”

“A good news story about missing divers. Perhaps if the reason why they went missing were published, then others could learn from their mistake.
And a BZ to the rescue teams.”
