Don your Santa gear for festive run
RUNNING group the Plymouth Coasters have organised Santa's Christmas Run through Central Park in December.
The run is to raise funds for Go Commando, the support charity of the Royal Marines.
The route is all off road, in and around the park so is safe for all ages, runners, dog walkers and pram pushers, organisers said.
This year's event is slightly different from previous years as the Coasters said after eight years of giving out Santa suits they were leaving it up to the runners to "use their own imagination" on what to wear.

"We hope everyone comes dressed in the Christmas spirit," said John Crockford of the club.
"We hope people do not take the Go Commando charity name too far and at least wear festive underwear," he added.
The event takes place on Sunday December 9 starting at 11am in Central Park.
It costs £5 to enter in advance or £7 extra on the day.
The run is sponsored by Sweatshop and all finishers get a £5 voucher.
All the profits are going to Go Commando.
Entry forms are available on the running club's website Plymouthcoasters.co.uk and in local sports shops.
