Driver cut free after two-car collision on A386 near Plymouth
A CRASH on the A386 near Plymouth left a motorist with suspected spinal injuries and another with possible whiplash.
Police were called to the two-car crash outside the Dartmoor Diner cafe at Roborough at 1:40pm yesterday.

A black Volkswagen Polo and a red Toyota Yaris collided at the Little Down Lane junction.
Two fire crews, from Yelverton and Crownhill, attended and used hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to remove the roof of one of the cars and free the driver.

Police say an 80-year-old man in the Yaris was walking wounded and was complaining of whiplash injuries.
He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth as a precaution.
The driver of the Polo, believed to be a woman, was suffering from suspected spinal injuries.
She was placed on a spinal board by paramedics and taken to Derriford Hospital.
The road was cleared by 2.15pm but traffic remained back-logged for some time.
