Drug-dealer in Asbo challenge
A CONVICTED drug-dealer is appealing against an Asbo banning him from entering Devon and Cornwall for 15 years.
Darrell Daniels, 23 and currently serving a three-year sentence for possessing £40,000- worth of cocaine with intent to supply, says he wants to have some conditions of the order varied to allow family visits and enable him to carry a non-contract mobile phone and more than £250 in cash.
Plymouth City Council and the police say if the restrictions are eased, Liverpool-born Daniels could return to his drug-dealing activities, claiming he had terrorised people in Whitleigh and groomed an 11-year-old boy to carry drugs for him.
