Eddie ‘The Eagle’ wins Tom Daley’s Splash!
The people’s favourite Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards won the final of the TV-show Splash! which featured Plymouth’s Tom Daley teaching a group of celebrities how to dive.
Throughout the heats and semi-final, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards impressed with his high difficulty dives.

In the final, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards performed a two-and-a-half somersault off the ten metre platform that earned him a perfect score of 30 points from the three judges.
He then performed a synchronized dive with Tom Daley where the pair performed an inwards one-and-a-half somersault pike from the ten metre, earning 29 out of 30 possible points.

However, the scores did not count, as the final was decided by popular vote by phone, and the UK public voted for Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, who won the contest in front of interior designer and TV-presenter Linda Barker and actor Jake Caruso.
