Eggstra-special Easter event is laid on
CHICKENS and eggs are the theme of a free Easter event being laid on at Plymouth City Museum and Art gallery.
The eggstra-special 'Make and Take' day will take place on Saturday, March 27.
Activities will include making rocking and stand-up chicks out of card, colouring-in and making wiggle-eye baskets to put their eggs in.
Once they have finished, children and adults can join an 'Animal Amble' around some of the museum's newest galleries, where they will be able to seek out animals.
The Chickens and Eggs sessions will last for up to an hour each and will be held at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm.
They are mainly suitable for children aged five to 11, although younger and older siblings are welcome to come along too.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free but places must be booked in advance on 01752 304774. For details of the Make and Take programme, which features seasonal events throughout the year, call 01752 304774 or visit www.plymouthmuseum.gov.uk
