ERNESETTLE Lane was partially closed after strong winds on Monday night left a shed in a "precarious position".

The 15ft by 10ft corrugated iron shed had "snagged" in the wind becoming a "danger to road users" according to police who took the decision to close the road.

A police spokesman said officers decided to close the road as it was thought the shed could "come down at any time". The shed was then dismantled.
