Event encourages smokers to make homes smoke free
SMOKERS were encouraged to quit at a special city-centre event at the weekend.
Face-painting, balloon-modelling and competitions were part of the day organised by the city's NHS Stop Smoking Service at Place de Brest.
Health advisors and fire service representatives were on hand to give advice on making homes smoke free.
The Smokefree Homes Project involves smokers and non-smokers signing up to make part or all of their home cigarette-free for the sake of their children, pets and visitors.
