RESIDENTS at Devonport Lifehouse, a Salvation Army Centre, have brightened up their outside yard.

The makeover was made possible thanks to a donation from the Let's Colour Movement, after volunteer Deborah from the Horticultural Therapy Trust nominated the project.

"We are so happy that the Lifehouse's residents have been able to use their creativity to positively impact on the outside area," she said about the donation.

"The project has definitely brought the community closer, with people from all walks of life pulling together to ensure it was completed, which was great to see."
