PLYMOUTH Albion's dual registered prop Lloyd Fairbrother will not get the chance to face his former club, the Cornish Pirates, on Sunday.

Fairbrother had been named in Albion's starting line-up for the big West Country showdown at Mennaye Field and was relishing the chance to move a point down in Cornwall.

However, Albion have since had to change their team as Exeter Chiefs, Fairbrother's parent club, have pulled him out of the Championship clash.

Due to injuries at Sandy Park, the Chiefs need Fairbrother to play in their A League match at Saracens on Monday evening. Henry Slade is also wanted for that fixture and so is also unavailable to Albion this weekend.

Fairbrother's absence on Sunday, means David Morton will return to Albion's starting line-up, with the experienced Ryan Hopkins coming onto the bench.

Albion: Louis Messer, Rhodri McAtee, Paul Bailey, Bevon Armitge, Jack Arnott, Paul Roberts, Paul Rowley, David Morton, Jon Vickers, Jack Andrew, Brett Beukeboom, Sean-Michael Stephen (capt), Herbie Stupple, Sam Hocking, Aaron Carpenter.
