Fallen tree in Plymouth is removed

A FALLEN tree that was blocking a busy road in Plymouth has now been removed.

Police were called to Outland Road near the Manadon roundabout, where a large tree had fallen on to the city-bound carriageway at about 1.45pm.

The road remained open but one lane was blocked until about 3pm when the tree was removed.

    “That tree has been threatening to fall in high winds for some conciderable time,
    Although reported as beeing suspect no preventative action had been taken,
    Very lucky nobody was seriously injured”
