Fern Britton goes from Plymouth to Strictly Come Dancing
TV presenter Fern Britton, who started her broadcasting career in Plymouth, is among the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1.
Fern, famous for presenting This Morning and Ready Steady Cook, started out at Westward in Plymouth in 1979.

She stayed with the ITV company until 1981 and then moved to Spotlight in Plymouth on BBC.
Fern will take part in the show which sees celebrities dancing alongside professional partners in Latin and Ballroom categories, from Saturday.
