Films aim to improve safety on rural roads
A SERIES of films aimed at reducing bad habits among Mid Devon motorcyclists were filmed on the A377, between Crediton and Exeter.
The films are being broadcast on the YouTube website as part of the Devon County Council's Country Mile Project which aims to increase road safety.
Each piece is shot in high definition and has been created with a number of tips to help riders improve their performance. Films will feature a total of seven camera angles with technical commentary analysis.
The first film will focus on how to handle obstacles and how best to avoid vehicles pulling out of junctions.
Tips on overtaking and junctions will also be broadcast on YouTube on June 22 and July 13. Visit www.corneringclinic.com for details.
Devon County Council, the police, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, Devon Primary Care Trust and a number of other organisations are working in partnership to improve road safety.
