Firefighters dealing with serious fire in old people's homes
FIREFIGHTERS have dealt with a serious fire at flats for older people in South East Cornwall.
Crews from Looe, Liskeard, Polruan, Lostwithiel, Bodmin, Launceston and St Austell were sent to the fire in Barbican Road, Looe.

Emergency services were sent to the scene at 4.20pm today, Saturday.
Cornwall Fire Service has described the fire as 'serious'.

Just before 6pm they said they had the fire was under control.
No injuries have been reported at this stage. The fire appears to be accidental.
The site is a ingle storey building consisting of 11 self contained flats with an open courtyard in centre.
The fire was confined to a ground floor laundrette and adjacent utilities area.
Smoke spread through various parts of the building.
A fire investigation will be carried out.
