Firefighters rescue trapped teenagers at Plymouth Life Centre
Two appliances from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service were called to Plymouth Life Centre at Milehouse on Friday evening, following reports of people trapped in a lift.
Rescuers found four teenagers, aged 14 to 16, in a distressed condition. Firefighters used tools to release the four who were uninjured.

“Why were they panick stricken - for goodnes sake - they were stuck in a lift, no danger at all -
all they had to do was wait for 12 minutes for 2 fire engines and 10 fireman to arrive -”
