Flash mob plan surprise for festive shoppers
A FLASH mob was planning to surprise Christmas shoppers today by dancing around in their underwear Rocky Horror Show style.
About 25 dancers were to perform The Time Warp dressed in "stockings and corsets" at about 2pm in the city centre's piazza area, near the ice rink.
But organisers say that number may be swelled by others turning up on spec.
In October a "zombie walk" attracted 124 people dressed as the undead to Plymouth city centre.

The flash mob phenomenon has become popular in recent years in towns and cities around the world since first performed in Manhattan in 2003.
It is when a group of people assemble suddenly in a public place to perform an unusual, and seemingly pointless, act for a brief time.
Today's event has been organised by Neil Trigger, boss of Plymouth's Ghostly Publishing, which specialises in children's fantasy books.
"We're hoping for a minimum of 25 participants, from dance groups, but it's gone a bit bonkers so we'll probably have a few more.
"They'll be dressed as normal, then there will be a klaxon and they'll disrobe and do the dance.
"But they'll only be dressed like in the Rocky Horror Show, fishnets and corsets, so no smut.
"It was my idea. I have strange ideas sometimes," he added. "It's just to raise a smile and give people something to look at, not subvert Christmas.
"And I wanted to do something to bring people down and help businesses in the centre of town."
The Time Warp, both a song and a dance, is one of the centrepieces of the Rocky Horror Show stage production and often involves audience participation.

“I rarely laugh out loud so when I do I never forget. When I first heard the Half Man Half Biscuit lyric about the RHPS driving a bloke to commit murder I had one of those very LOL moments. It must be 30 years ago now. Ah such happy days.”
