“He's a smug poxy diver from Plymouth. I don't understand all this hero worship. Its not like he's a real sportsman is it? Doubt anybody outside plymouth has heard of him before the Olympics. Some people on here need to get a grip and find some kind of hobby.”

Who makes the laws then? The Queen? The Judges? The police?
I always thought a law and or change of law needed to be voted on as a bill in the houses of parliament by politicians
Quote for you.
"In Great Britain laws are made in Parliament at Westminster. Its law-making status makes Parliament Great Britain's main legislative body - though the Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Parliament do have legislative capabilities Common law can be amended or repealed by Parliament; murder, by way of example, carries a mandatory life sentence today, but had previously allowed the death penalty."”

“What an insidious little post, BettyD. Always telling everyone how you are fed up with hearing about TD yet you seem to read every article on here about him and make a comment.”
