A fully-laden fuel tanker broke down on the A374 Gdynia Way this morning causing traffic delays in the city.

The lorry, which broke down because of a puncture, left one lane closed on the outbound carriage way for over an hour.

The lane was shut from around 7am until just after 8am, police said.
