Run by mother and daughter team Kim and Aisleigh O’ Neil it offers everything from bars with personalised message to individual selections in edible boxes.
And for Mother’s Day Kim and Aisleigh have come up with a number of special novelty items.
Aisleigh said: “We are doing a lot of bars and edible cards with messages on and that sort of thing. We also have chocolate tea pots and tea cups which are quite cute and a chocolate high heel ladies shoe which we think will go well.”
Chocaccinos also offers you the chance to pick and mix a selection to suit your mum’s tastes. Alternatively why not bring her along with you to choose for herself?
Aisleigh said: “We offer different sixe boxes where you can choose a selection of loose chocolates that you know your mum likes. We have everything from chilli chocolates to salted dark chocolate and white chocolate with champagne and a raspberry topping.”
And don’t worry if the selection leaves you feeling a little overwhelmed, Aisleigh and Kim have an unrivalled knowledge and passion when it comes to all things chocolate.
Aisleigh said: “We find that during the winter people go for more dark chocolates, ones with booze in and things like honey and cinnamon but now we are getting towards spring people tend to go for lighter ones like white chocolate and lime, or peach schnapps.
“My favourite is the raspberry fluff which is white chocolate and raspberry centre with framboise liqueur in dark chocolate and topped with more raspberries, it’s a real taste tangle and definitely hits the spot.”
As well as offering a choice of chocs that would have Willy Wonka scratching his head the shop is also renowned for its chocolate cafe.
If you are looking for somewhere a little bit different to take your mum for a Mother’s Day cuppa this could be the perfect place.
The cafe’s speciality is the ‘choc dream cream tea’ featuring a large chocolate chip scone, a cup of tea, jam, cream and a pot of hot chocolate sauce – ideal for an indulgent afternoon out.
