MIKE NANCEKIVELL was unable to make it a hat-trick of wins in the Fossils' stableford competition, despite a stirring back nine that took him into third place in the Silver Division.

FLYING START: New St Mellion ladies' captain Elaine Marshall started her year in style by winning the annual drive-in, a nine-hole Texas Scramble. Her team, which included past captain, Geraldine Howley, new vice-captain Sue Poole, and section secretary Mary Brinsley, won the competition on countback
Gold Division honours went to David Pover (41pts), with Jim Cairns (38) and Paul Beadle (41) topping the Silver and Bronze divisions respectively.
There was a winter greensomes victory for Ian Parker and Keith Field against Bruce Sobey and Alan Dearing, as well as a surprise success for Colin Macdonald and Chris Nash over David Brockbank and Roger Harris.

WRANGATON
MARK HANCOCK won the The B Team Bash competition with a total of 40 points on countback from Ian Bentley.
Ryan Moore won Division One of the men's November stableford with a score of 41 points.
He was followed home by Stewart Ewens, Mark Roberts, Pete Shepherd and Chris Hill who all had 39 points.
Ian Bentley's 43 points were sufficient to win Division Two. In second place was Paul Jeffery (39). Stuart Newberry and Ian Mayne finished third and fourth with 38 points.
Division Three was won by Tony Hall (42) with Lee Kirk second (41) and Tom Westrope third (40).
