Gow off to a flying start at Hibernian
ARGYLE striker Alan Gow made a successful start to his loan spell at Scottish Premier League club Hibernian by scoring on his debut.
Gow was sent on as a 70th-minute substitute for Colin Nish in an Active Nation Scottish Cup fifth-round tie at Easter Road on Saturday.

And he grabbed the final goal of the game as Hibernian eased their way to a 5-1 victory over Division Three side Montrose.
Gow picked up possession from defender Ian Murray, wide on the left, in the 89th minute and cut inside.
He went past a couple of opposing players before sliding the ball past goalkeeper Andrew McNeil and into the far corner of the net.
Gow is with Hibernian until the end of the season and will be hoping they can lift the Scottish Cup, in May.
Argyle pair Steve MacLean and Jim Paterson have not had such a good start to their loan spells at Aberdeen.
They both made their debuts for the Dons in a 1-0 home defeat by Falkirk in the SPL last Tuesday.
MacLean and Paterson also started for Aberdeen in their Scottish Cup fifth round tie away to Division One outfit Raith Rovers on Saturday.
Aberdeen drew 1-1, but only after an equaliser from Gary McDonald in the fifth and final minute of stoppage time at the end of the match.
Meanwhile, Argyle striker George Donnelly is making his mark while on a one-month loan to Stockport County.
Donnelly's debut for the bottom-of-the-table League One club came in a 2-0 defeat at Southampton.
He then scored on his first start for Stockport as they lost 3-1 at home to MK Dons on Saturday.
Donnelly gave County the lead in the 11th minute of the match at Edgeley Park.
The 21-year-old then had the opportunity to put the hosts 2-0 up when a penalty was awarded for a foul on him by David McCracken.
But Donnelly's spot kick was pushed onto the crossbar by MK Dons' goalkeeper Willy Gueret.
Former Argyle striker Jermaine Easter put MK Dons level in the 23rd minute and the visitors did not look back from there.
Stockport are seven points adrift at the bottom of the table and seemingly doomed to relegation.
Herald Sport understands striker Ashley Barnes could be the next Argyle player to leave on loan. Barnes has made three starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship this season.

“Agree with the below comments.
Fallon is absolute donkey.
At least Trigger was a donkey who'd still score 10 goals a season and put himself about a bit.”

“Argyle can't score, but players we loan out who have not had a chance at argyle, do?
Always thought Gow had something should have been given a chance and has for Easter, he was a developing player who was not dveloped enough under Sturrock and now has cofidence which should mean he will become a very good player. Shame!!!
Why are we persisting with Fallon who can not hit a barn door from 6yrds. Givethe other lads a chance, they can not perform any worse.
Saturdays performance had a lot of positives and we are starting to look like a team, just lacking up front. Needs a change.”
