Greta Garbo fountain pen in £10,000 burglary haul
AN EXPENSIVE fountain pen engraved with the name of film legend Greta Garbo, pictured, was part of a £10,000 haul taken by burglars.
The raiders made off with a valuable collection of pens, plus expensive jewellery, and caused damage costing hundreds of pounds during the daylight burglary on the Hoe on February 4.

Police are asking for information about the whereabouts of any of the items, which include a pair of white gold earrings.
The earrings are of 18-carat white gold, each with a design of four equal-sized 1.5-carat diamonds attached together in a vertical drop.
The earrings were made by Michael Spiers jewellers, and the initials 'MS/SP' are engraved next to the hallmark.
Another pair of white gold earrings was taken. The design is a diamond on the earlobe with two pearls attached vertically. The diamond is smaller than the upper pearl. The upper pearl is smaller than the lower pearl.
The other items were:
A Delta Dolce Vita chunky-sized fountain pen. The pen is bright orange with a black cap.
An Elysee slim silver-coloured fine-fibre tipped or ballpoint pen. It probably has blue ink and twist mechanism to bring the nib out. The base and lid are covered in an ornate filigree textured design.
A black Parker (possibly ballpoint) pen.
The Mont Blanc Greta Garbo limited- edition roller or ballpoint pen is black with a cream cap and silver clip. The end of the clip is adorned with a pearl.
A yellow gold banded ring with a brown citrine gemstone standing proud, surrounded by small diamonds.
Yellow nine-carat gold earrings with several diamonds and a pear-shaped brown citrine.
A pair of 18-carat white gold earrings. The design is a 1mm sliver of white gold and a small diamond. They are for pierced ears, with a hook through the lobe.
The burglars also spilt ink on a carpet and caused damage to other property, including a frame containing family war medals.
