Guildhall goes slightly mod
AFTER the success of last month's Souled Out at Plymouth Guildhall there's more coming in the same vein.
Soul Rider brings mod, indie and northern soul tunes to the venue on May 26.
Joining the DJs is a live guest. Long-serving guitarist to the Modfather, and lead guitarist with one of the UK's foremost bands of the Nineties, Steve Cradock pitches up as part of a UK tour.
Steve is widely regarded as one of the finest guitarists and songwriters of his generation for his achievements with Ocean Colour Scene and continuing global successes with Paul Weller.

He arrives hot foot from his stint supporting Liam Gallagher and Beady Eye on their April tour dates.
Soul Rider, aka Jonathan Fulton, met Cradock on a train from Plymouth to London back in January and the two men got chatting over a few beers.
They instantly connected over a passion for great music and the idea for the Guildhall show was born.
The show won't simply be a gig, though, it's more of an event that will see stylish mods and soul sisters descending arriving from all over the South West.
With a clothes code – 'dress sharp' – and a set of top DJs from the South East, in the majestic setting of the Guildhall's Main Hall, the evening should be memorable.
Tickets are £15 each. They can be bought at David & David Hair Salon, Mayflower Street, or from John Brown outfitters, Mayflower Street.
