Head-on collision closes lane on the Tamar Bridge

A HEAD-ON collision between a car and a lorry closed one lane of the Tamar Bridge.

One person was taken to hospital with what police described as a "slight injury" following the smash in foggy conditions at around 9am yesterday.

Police shut one lane of the Eastbound stretch between the Saltash and Pemros Road junctions. The road was reopened shortly after 10am.
