A MAN accused of burgling a health centre looks set to stand trial.

Joe Tibbs, 20, allegedly entered Plympton Health Centre as a trespasser with intent to steal on January 28.

He is also charged with attempting to burgle the Boots Pharmacy at the health centre on the same day.

Tibbs, of Hemerdon Heights in Plympton, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to both charges.

The court heard that following the alleged incident at the health centre Tibbs was found in a semi-unconscious state in the front garden of a friend's house.

The one-and-a-half day trial is expected to begin on December 17 this year. Tibbs was bailed.
