“We're all taught to drive accordingly and within the highway code, taking into account the traffic, weather and road conditions. You can blame the roads and the weather (and even PCC) for slowing you down but the majority of blame for accidents goes to the drivers.”

“driving around plymouth is like route canal surgery, you have to own a 4 wheel drive to make progress, and then comes summer, rain, rain ,rain, seriously feel like giving up, but thats what 'they' want, so I will carry on.”

“You can't keep blaming the PCC for the incompetence of these drivers who have accidents and the poor driving standards in general around our city. If it was the fault of the roads we would all have accidents every day. Just face it driving/riding standards are appalling and it's not going to get any better, people have don't care bad attitudes and to many distractions (No 1 in the charts! mobile phone) that prevents them from driving correctly”

“Two things highlight an ongoing danger to our road users and highlight the incompetence of PCC -

    1. The untreated pot holes become a hidden danger in heavy rain.

    2. Regularly blocked drains have little or nothing done to clear them and nearly always reappear with heavy rain.

PCC persistently seem to do sweet nothing.”

“Only wish they would .... oldhippy73, most are still driving 6 feet from your bumper at stupid speeds, just got in and the driving standards are very poor.”
