The Copthorne Hotel Plymouth held it's "Win a Wedding" prize draw at their Wedding Fayre on Sunday 27th January. The competition was held on Radio Plymouth over a 2 week period, the entrants had to register and be present at the Wedding Fayre in order to be eligible for the prize draw. The atmosphere was very tense when the General Manager, Michael Wood pulled Nicky Holiday's name out of the tombola, she was completely speechless! Unfortunately Chrys Lush her fiancee was unable to accompany Nicky as he was working on Sunday, Nicky unfortunately had forgotten her phone so Michael Wood (General Manager) kindly offered Nicky the use of his phone so she could ring him and share the exciting news, he could not believe it, the pair were totally amazed, Nicky said "I can not believe It, I am speechless." Nicky and Chrys are hoping to redeem their prize in October and lots of exhibitors have come forward and offered Nicky discounts on many of their products for their special day!
The Copthorne Hotel offered up the special prize to coincide with their Wedding Fayre on Sunday 27th January. Nikki Keen Sales Manager for the Copthorne Hotel said "this was such a unique prize, only those thinking of getting married or wanting to be married could enter, the number of entrants for the competition took us all by surprise, we could not believe it, we are already planning our next Wedding Fayre which will be held at the Copthorne Hotel on Sunday 29th September 11-3pm, free entry." The wedding Fayre was a great success with lots of people visiting the venue who had not been before and were completely taken by surprise when they found out the price of our Wedding packages!
