A PLYMSTOCK pub is holding monthly acoustic music sessions.

Hosted by musicians, David Doyle and Nik Brookson, the sessions happen at the Morley Arms on the third Sunday of every month.

David, of storytellers Stone Soup, said: "It is open to absolutely anybody. They don't have to be a musician – we encourage anyone who wants to come along and just shake a tambourine or clap along.

"The main reason we chose a Sunday afternoon is to try and encourage young people to come along and not only experience live music but get involved."

The sessions run at the Billacombe Road pub between 3pm and 6pm and there is no charge to take part.
