Ipswich striker to make loan move to Argyle
IPSWICH Town striker Ronan Murray is set to become the first signing of new Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan.
It has been confirmed the Republic of Ireland under-21 international will be moving to the League Two club on loan.
Murray, 21, is expected to train with his new team-mates tomorrow, ahead of the home game against Morecambe on Saturday.
The striker has had previous loan spells at Torquay United and Swindon Town.

“Well done JS for getting a player in on loan so quickly and welcome to home Park Ronan.
That said, does anyone else think this is not the best move possible - from what I can see he has not scored many yet which given the donkeys we have may make him feel at home.
We need someone who can score JS not just someone to pull on the shirt - we have that already!!!
Onwards and upwards and 3 points on Saturday - with a hatrick each from our central defenders.

“Hhe does not have a good scoring record.....even in the lower divisions :-( Not so much a striker more of an attacker...?"....hope he is not another one that keeps hooting wide of the target. We have plenty of those already.”

“What are some of you on?? Why would we want Boa Morte when Chesterfield don't. Why would we want Vassell's?? Goalscorers in their day but so were Chadwick and Feeney and now we want rid. I can imagine Wimbledon or Barnet fans saying similar " Hey what about Chadwick or Feeney at Plymouth, they maybe available"
Lets let JS get on with what he is doing, its only been a few days. I am confident come Saturday he'll have 2 or 3 more in
From what I have heard Home Park is buzzing at the moment since his arrival as CF got to close to a few of the players and found it difficult to leave them out. Could explain his strange team selections sometimes and may explain Chadwicks stupid behaviour after 30 seconds last Saturday when he wanted to get sent off. Maybe he realised that the new manager saw he was rubbish and by being suspended for 6 weeks no other club would take him on loan so stay at HP and pick up his wages. I imagine he is one of the more bigger earners
I am very confident at the moment, more than I have been for some months
Just stay realistic that's all”

Think my favourite one he did was 'When you say nothing at all'”
