Irish lock Copeland impresses Albion boss Dawe for Warriors
PLYMOUTH Albion boss Graham Dawe is hoping triallist Robin Copeland will decide to continue his career with the city side.
Copeland, 22, showed up well in Devonport Warriors' 30-12 defeat of a British Armed Forces' side in a challenge match at Brickfields.

Albion's development team threw up some good performances from several players Albion director of rugby Graham Dawe was running the rule over.
One of them was lock Copeland, with Tavistock flanker Duncan Law also impressing the Albion boss on Tuesday night.
Copeland, who has been playing club rugby for St Mary's College in Ireland, was in Plymouth for a week to take part in training sessions with Albion as well as play in Tuesday's game.
Dawe said the lock, who played for Irish Colleges against England Students last year, had 'done very well'.
The Albion chief added: "I'd like to think he'd come back. It's whether we can come to a mutual arrangement.
"I got the impression he's got lots of things to think about, like finishing his degree at the end of July.
"There's other things for him to consider, like moving over here."
Dawe said he was grateful to two clubs, Tavistock and Camborne, for sending players to swell out the Warriors' ranks.
Classy flanker Law, arguably Western Counties West outfit Tavistock's best player last season, had put in a good shift for the Warriors, said Dawe.
The Albion chief said: "Duncan had a great game. We had other players guesting for us and it was a good experience for them. We're very grateful to the clubs for helping us out."
Dawe said Albion's pre-season training programme was going well.
The Albion boss said he was getting the players to a certain level, then aiming to improve on it.
He said: "The season starts in eight weeks and time is against us. It's starting early this year and we don't want to suffer burn-out, because it is a long, continuous season."
