James Bond-themed flower show leaves Plymouth audience "shaken not stirred"
THERE were no fast cars, explosions or martinis on display – but a James Bond-themed flower show still left audience members "shaken not stirred".
The Devon and Cornwall National Flower Arrangement Society's fundraising event, held at Plymstock School on Saturday, featured a host of colourful floral displays, all based around the popular film franchise.
Group publicist Julia Horscroft said: "The demonstrator chose that theme, and all of the displays were named after James Bond films.
"It was very well supported, we had about 170 people I think and there was a lot of money coming in through the stalls.

"At the end it got a standing ovation and that's pretty much unheard of."
The event was raising money for the group's area show which will take place on October 29 and 30 at the St Mellion International Resort in Saltash.
