MANAGER John Sheridan does not expect to make any more additions to his Argyle squad.

Sheridan has completed five signings since his appointment by the struggling League Two club on January 6.

Four of them played in the 0-0 draw against Accrington Stanley at Home Park on Saturday.

There were debuts for Anthony Charles and Reuben Reid, while Guy Branston and Ronan Murray made only their second appearances.

However, Gozie Ugwu was ruled out by an ankle injury which he suffered in training on Friday.

Sheridan told Herald Sport: "If I keep everyone fit, I have just got to get by with what I have got.

"We had 24 at training this week so there are a lot of people who aren't playing football. We have got to look at that.

"Hopefully, Gozie will be fit for next week (the game against Dagenham and Redbridge at Home Park this Saturday).

Sheridan has told striker Rhys Griffiths he can leave Argyle while winger Joe Lennox's contract will not be renewed when it ends on Thursday.

Other players could also leave Home Park, with speculation continuing about the future of Onismor Bhasera.

The Zimbabwe international has been linked to moves to Shrewsbury, Walsall and Northampton.

Bhasera, who is out of contract this summer, was the pick of Argyle's players against Accrington.

Meanwhile, Ugwu was denied the chance to make his debut for the Pilgrims after failing a fitness test before the game.

Sheridan said: "He got a knock on his ankle in the last two minutes of training on Friday.

"He had a fitness test and the lad was desperate to play but he was just in a bit too much pain."

Several senior players could get run-outs for an Argyle XI against Saltash United at Kimberley Stadium on Wednesday (7.30pm).

Robbie Williams, Paul Wotton, Jamie Lowry and Andres Gurrieri are likely to be involved in that game.

There could also be some much-needed match practice for young professionals Jamie Richards, Jared Sims, Isaac Vassell and Matt Lecointe.

“If baz goes my season ticket is being binned, only player who looks like he is giving a 100 percent, only player capable of beating his man, yeah when purse went it was easy to replace him with a experienced meat head who didn't have a home, baz is quality and in my mind championship class, surely this player should be kept, why not ship out the players who don't get in the squad, my god there's enough of them, come on James Brent, wakey wakey,”
