King and Kath on the road in search of peak practice
CITY athletes Katherine Endacott and David King (pictured) hit the road this weekend, with the former hoping to tap into a vein of form and the latter eager to keep his hot winning streak going.
Both hurdler King and sprinter Endacott comfortably claimed Devon county titles last weekend in Exeter, in what proved to be a successful meeting for Plymouth's track and field athletes.
King is fast emerging as one of the city's brightest prospects and tomorrow will be testing himself against his peers at a star-studded Loughborough International meet.
Last year, Jess Ennis and Dai Green were both in attendance as well as a number of those like King who are eager to make a name for themselves in athletics.

King will be chasing down a quick time in the junior 110m hurdles to give him lift off ahead of next weekend's international with the GB hurdles team in Belgium.
The 17-year-old Devonport High School for Boys student is ranked at number one in the UK. Chief among his targets for the season is to run 13.7secs, a qualifying mark for the World Junior Championships in Barcelona in July.
Fellow City of Plymouth AC star Endacott, is competing for her club in the Southern Women's League meet in Poole.
The 32-year-old still harbours hopes of winning a place in the GB women's 4x100m sprint team for London.
She will be at Birmingham for the English Championships on June 2/3, then the Bedford International Games on June 10, where she will get the sprint competition needed for the UK Olympic trials on June 22-24.
