Lane on A38 closed after crash on Leigham and Manadon slip road into Plymouth

Police and fire crews were forced to close a lane on the A38 this afternoon after a driver ploughed into a central reservation.

Firefighters happened to be in the area at the time when they were relayed reports of a Nissan Primera having crashed into the reservation on the slip road between Leigham and Manadon.

During the incident, which happened at approximately 5:15pm, the fire crew from Camel's Head had to close one lane due to debris on the road. They made sure the vehicle was safe and attended to the male driver who was unhurt.

The lane is now open and the police are attending to the scene.
