Learn more about work of RNLI
THE RNLI will be hosting a display of lifesaving equipment in the city centre today.
The event is being held under the big screen in Armada Way from 9am to 5pm as part of the charity's annual See Our Services (SOS) fundraising day.
Tom Mansell, RNLI divisional operations manager said: "You'll be able to meet some of the Plymouth RNLI volunteers, many of whom spent five days helping in the search for young Jordan Cobb."
The body of 16-year-old Jordan, who jumped from the Torpoint Ferry on New Year's Eve, was found in the River Tamar after a search lasting more than two weeks.
