“if people keep building on everything, dont put enough drainage in, water has to go someplace so flooding will happen regardless of how many days it rains.”

“IF this is what its like now imagine what it might be like in 1000 years for the future generations. Maybe we should start now making all buildings totally flood proof although that might not be currently possible. either way this is the weather that we will b experiencing for ever and we will have to adapt our buildings to ever changing conditions.”

“@iamajc .. a boke is a janner fella . The janners are so lazy they cant wast time on something as trivial as producing an L .
Same as when they say "bey" for "boy" .... it saves them 10 minutes to work their way up and down the alphabet .”

“Why arent the janners on the clifftops waiting for the wreckage to come ashore to scavenge what they can ? And where is a janner lass at the helm pointing the way with a rowing boat full of males rowing out to rescue someone ?
All the bokes down the pub watching sky football and the lass being arrested for kicking a copper in the shins .”

“One would expect that the familes at The Ride will get preferential treatment or prioritised urgently from PCC concidering their unfortunate plight and contribution to the local community.”
