ONE OF the Barbican's most iconic club venues is having a revamp and going back to its roots.

Club Wow will be renamed The Loft from tomorrow with Plymouth DJ Andy Howard spearheading a host of exciting changes at the venue.

The site at The Parade will now offer a more eclectic mix of music and themed nights and Andy is hoping it will be able to recreate and boost the atmosphere of the venue when it was known as the Quay Club.

"It is such a buzz to be back here. One of my first regular gigs as a DJ was here," said Andy, who will be behind the decks every Friday and Saturday.
