Woman admits going to house armed with machete and smashing windows
A WOMAN who admits going round to another woman's house armed with a machete and smashing her windows is to be sentenced at Plymouth Crown Court on Friday.
Carol Ruan pleaded guilty to destruction of property at Valletort Place, Stoke, on March 21, and to possession of a bladed article on the same date.
Ruan, aged 43, of Union Street, was granted bail by Judge Paul Darlow, who ordered a fast-delivery report from the Probation Service.

“A machete? What a nutter. Surely a sledge hammer is far more appropriate when you want to smash someone's windows?”

“Nicola, don't you ever proof read? Herald, Nicola and Ivybridge should have capital H, N and I. And, as you asked a question it should have been followed by a question mark, not multiple exclamation marks, which actually mean nothing.”
