CHILDREN are being encouraged to get creative at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery this Saturday.

The Yuletide Use Up workshops are part of a new programme of Saturday activities at the museum called Make and Take, and organisers say they are a great way for parents, relatives and carers to spend some quality time with their children while doing something creative.

Aimed at five to 11-year-olds, the workshops will take place at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm and will each last for around an hour.

Whatever the youngsters make they can take home with them.

Admission is free but people are advised to book in advance on 01752 304774.
