Man, 26, accused of malicious wounding
A 26-YEAR-OLD has appeared in court accused of maliciously wounding a man.
Barry Hambly was brought to Plymouth Magistrates' Court in custody to face a charge of attacking a man causing grievous bodily harm on March 6.
The assault allegedly took place at Hambly's home of Westeria Terrace in Beacon Park.
Eoin McCarthy, prosecuting, said that the victim suffered a broken nose, a fractured cheek bone and a cut between his eyes.
Unemployed Hambly indicated 'no plea' to the charge and district judge Paul Farmer directed that the case should be heard at crown court.
He was released on conditional bail to appear back before magistrates on May 4 while the case is prepared.
